Anita Johnson received her J.D. degree, as well as Family Law Certificate from DePaul University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois in 2006. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Outstanding Achievement in Family Law Practice Skills. After clerking for three judges in the Domestic Relations Division of the Seventh Circuit of Illinois, she received a commendation for her outstanding service to the division. Ms. Johnson was also appointed by the DePaul Family Law Fellow to research domestic violence cases within Cook County for their longevity and outcome within the domestic violence court, with recommendations made to the judiciary based upon that research.

She became a Florida licensed attorney in 2008. She founded the Law Office of Anita M. Johnson, PLLC as a Law Firm devoted to 100% Divorce and Family Law. She is the driving force behind all cases that are brought on board, organizing other professionals such as forensic accountants, clinical psychologists, parenting coordinators, and the like, depending upon the specifics of each case.

She has outstanding credentials, including certification as a financial litigator, and founding member of the American Institute of Certified Financial Litigators. She also holds a Florida Supreme Court Mediator Certification.
